I enjoy all aspects of photography that the great outdoors provides, whether this being landscapes, animals in their environment or travel.

Whilst quite a lot of my work is based around the great outdoors I also enjoy the editorial side of photography.
To date I have had a lot of successes in this area with numerous articles being published in newspapers and magazines including being asked to provide photographs for the book ‘
The Slaidburn Angel’ by Sheelagh Whittaker.


In 2015, following on from a 1200 mile solo camping trip around Scotland, I produced my first book Scotland from the Trossachs to Perthshire in Twelve Days which has ben very successful and a great record of my achievement.

A more recent development of my mine is to produce yearly Calendars of my various photographic ventures which I intend to continue developing.

I am always on the lookout to create new projects to develop my photography further and this next year I am looking at creating a year long photography project.
